Anyone remember how to get all three strongholds, without downloading a mod? There was a way, I remember cause I did it....but I can't remember the order and the exact details, it's been some years...

I was wondering if anyone knew or remembered how to get all three strongholds at once? I know there is a way to do this, I've done it before, something like not finishing one and moving on to another, and in a proper order...Does anyone know how to accomplish this WITHOUT downloading mods?
