I hope they use the BG2 engine...except allow the user to rotate the camera angles by 90 degrees...similar to how Commandos 2 used this technique.

If I remember correctly Commandos 2 drew a 3d image, but only allowed an isometric view. That would work well for BG3.

I read that it'd had been leaked from somewhere during a developer brainstorm meeting...The notes above were apparently one of the hot ideas.

Personally I think it sounds like a great idea...sort of Indiana Jones meets RPG.

IMHO individual characters morales seems to be broken...maybe an afterthought by Black Isle which never got finished properly.

Morale gets reset after a period of time to it's default value...which in itself seems strange....Actions from either NPC's or PC's should change the morale of your ...
