Which potions are you able to make? There is a potion that slows time (can't remember the name now as its been so long since I played) and that makes fights against multiple opponents a lot easier. Also, which sword are you using? Can you afford or forge a better weapon?

i just hit the recommend button when upgrading the skills and character points.....

By planning out your character, even if not in detail but just so you have an idea of where you are going with it, can add a new dimension to the game and it ...

My view was that the check is deliberately impossible to meet without cheats as he is not the kind of person that would surrender under any circumstance. This fits into his character type and makes sense. If other people reach the same logical conclusion then that is why nobody asks about it.

The ...

Its been a while since I played, but if I recall correctly the portals are just black mist/fog, they are not actually portals. Just walk into the fog to be teleported to another section.

Go out of the main gate in the courtyard so you are in the fields in front of the keep. Then follow the wall north til you find it :)

If I remember correctly (its been a while since I played), you have a few moments to regroup your party and then after a certain amount of time the King of Shadows will appear.

Are you in Beregost? There is a known bug that sometimes causes saves there to crash. Have you got a save game that was saved outside of Beregost?

If using Vista (I don't use Windows 7 yet so can't help with that), right click on the icon to start the Witcher, and select run as administrator. It should then work fine.

You can do all the henchman quests ... just invite each one to join you, take them to somewhere neutral like the temple and ask them to wait there when you remove them from your party. Every time you level up, go back and invite each one in turn, going through all their dialogue, and then release ...

Rings, amulets, bracers, belts, headgear (as far as I recall) and gloves do not affect monk abilities, neither do robes. Armour affects them as they hinder the monks movement and reflexes.

If using a weapon of any kind, other than the damage-causing gloves, will restrict which abilities you can use ...

Change their behaviour using the options on the character sheet ... I can't fully remember but I think there is an option to stop all party members auto summoning companions, if not then you can definately do it by individually going to each NPC's character sheet and changing their spell casting ...

Have you recently installed any new mods or reinstalled the game? It could be a faulty installation with something to do with the Wyvern models or locations - thats all I can think it could be anyway

Maybe try backing up your save games then reinstalling the game and seeing if that ...
