NPC identity crisis

Hi all,


Love the game but having a problem with missing characters, it's my first time through, I'm on chapter 5 of act II. I patched to 2.2 to (to fix Finalas elevator problem).

Seemed to play fine after patching but now I try and swap party members to do the Deru quest and its all gone to hell ...
