The combats system is original eventually its weakness is to hardly setup a real challenge.

Different tactics could apply you have at your disposal :
- 5 magic spell (right mouse button) a normal cast for each and eventually a powerful cast (longer press on right mouse button)
- 2 different swords ...

Another suggestion :
- Prepare with spectre oil and tawmy potion.
- Do not care to Abigael she won't die but will just fall unconscious (Curse to all the time i tried not her die).
- Key is group style and never attack directly the beast but its dogs. This will avoid to be hit by the beast and be ...

Yes it's as said swcarter, I was at wrong side. Very bad realization. Just after to hit the last pilar ie the pilar in the big room run to opposite side do not care anything else. You'll be on the righ side and queen dead.

Blocked after queen spider death

I am in chapter 3, I have killed the big spider I took all items from spider body this triggered a sequence showing a passage openned. I read all docs taken from the spider.

At this point I see a passage but can't move to it something blocks me. I tried Aard with no chance. If I go back in first ...

Where the walkthrough disapeared?

There was a walkthrough and I can't find it anymore perhaps lost in the labyrinth of menus and sub-sections? :D

If you someone could provide me a direct link...

Apparently pressing the left mouse button works, or escape, at least for me.
Ok, I learned that only recently, sorry for the little suspicion. :)

It's all a matter of opinion. Personally my favorite story from a CRPG would have to be the little known Planescape: Torment. I've yet to encounter a ...

Also I am curious if you are from the USA...just curious wondering what stereotypes are out there. For instance to me the game did have kind of a foreign vibe but just simply elements of sex and racism and violence are not foreign to the US media.
Your country, yes not mine, is doing director's ...

Unlike most games, you can actually solve quests without having them. It's more like most games. You kill the bandits group first before to get the quest then meet the city captain and you don't get any reward or quest and xp? Eventually this is more realistic but the few games I saw do that was a ...

Thanks for the info, Left click and escape, I can't believe I didn't tried it! :D Ok I enjoy cinematic of the game but I already get some more than once because of a death and then wanted to skip.

Look, I like this game, I really do. I love the gameplay, I love the art. It's refreshing and new, but sadly, I've begun to quickly skip over the dialog and cutscenes...

Anyways, thats my dumb ol' opinion!
Wooo there's a key to skip dialogs and cinematic???? What it is? this can help when you ...

I haven't yet played a lot of the game, but my feeling is currently that I'm highly impressed. Some weakness like some keyboard keys with a fixed setup which is highly boring but the game worth to go over it. No key to skip cinematic but you can survive this. A fight system ok but the hit chaining ...

thanks both but kree I don't have the patch 1 2 or even 3 for the version I use. I have installed and unofficial patch for my version but each time I quit the game I got a message about wrong memory address, not good.

Also if US patch could work on my version, I'll have the problem that on atari ...

Thanks for the advice but first their forum are down and I can't download anything.

But the main point is that I don't have the US/UK version and there's no patch for my version. I finally find an unofficial patch but it's not clear if it's patch 1 or 2, plus Co8 will most probably won't work with ...

I'll add a bad point, dam the final can comes very soon without to have really explored and unset a lot of things. It's not a good design. My chars was level 6 but this final could have occurs at level 5, and lower level clearly possible. Ha well if I replay this will let more new stuff to discover ...

True, true. The biggest flaw of NWN is the lack of a decent party. Yeah I regret that most new big RPG, often very good because a lot of money time and skills put in them, don't use anymore true party system. In fact my dream would be a mix a bit like in ToEE, party PC and party NPC. But with ...

I replayed Fallout recently, and I don't get what's so awful about it. As for NWN, it's the same system as ToEE. Just me then for Fallout. For NW, even if it's same rules, you party with only one controlled characters with a figh system much more sample can in no way compare to ToEE. Myself all ...

Can't help but in the Otis series, I remember this name, tried find where it was but can't. Eventually it's because I use a game with names translated. Curently I reach Temple and explored level 1 plus some parts of lower levels. I tried finc Otis in the towns but failed.

Can you help?

Lol I requested confirmation just to be sure, in no way I'll replay Neither NWN nor Fallout. I tried not so long ago to replay fallout and that was awfull! Too bad it was an amazing game. I played NWN and mods too much and in fact don't like a lot the system.
