As for extra content, frankly I've yet to notice anything worthwhile.

Tough one, but i'd say Darklands(right next to the Ultimas,PS:T,Arcanum,Realms of Arkania, TES1&2, ADOM, Nethack, yadayada.)

In a way, yes. Even though its was a good thing that BG2 was much more focused and detailed than the prequel, i kind of missed the open wilderness areas with dozens of encounters that didnt have anything to do with the main plot or the major side quests.

Yeah, it was composed by Danny Pelfrey. If you find nothing by his name, try searching for Marisa Lenhardt. She performed the female vocals on it and was a so called big name associated with the soundtrack.
