I checked the G3 forum, but cannot get a reliable answer since it just looks like a war between the pro-JW and the anti-JW. There are so many contradicting informations that I am not able to see who I should trust.

Vista Woes

well i did happen to find what i was looking for thank u all. :) now the problem is it wont save when i make the change. why is that, it tells me i cant prplace it i have no clue why dose anyone else?

I have just "upgraded" [HA!-not] to a new computer with Windows Vista. I moved my game and all of my saved games over to the new computer. It was great.... better graphics, great sound...began killing stuff and WHAM! An ugly box appears with a bunch of garbage characters and my game freezes up ...

That's another one of the uncompleted aspects of the game....

Now I understand....

Your first slot has the fighter symbol.
Your second slot has the mage symbol.
Given this, becoming a warlock was never an option.
The 1st, 3rd and 5th slots are for your primary class.
The 2nd and 4th slots are for your secondary class.

The only thing I can suggest is go back to aliester and
go through all the dialogue options again. Maybe you missed something.

To put it in other words....

The game is buggy (imperfect) . Therefore, it does not perform as consistently as it should.

Because the game was not ...

Here it is, plain and simple....

If you are killing firedrakes with ranged weapons, the game
will not reward you with the option of picking up the dragons
tooth. When you get up close / personal with your attack(s)
and are successful. Only then will you be rewarded thusly.
