Centurion,

Don't worry, mate - I read between the lines. What you said was in no way judgmental, or harsh. In fact ...

Are Hex / Char Editors being used legitimately?

Ok, this is likely going to be a controversial thread...

In another post , Centurion led me to consider an interesting point. There are some who do not put in the effort to overcome a tough battle, or want to fly through the ...

Centurion, that's true. They will eventually converge in on you.

For further reference to those viewing this thread, you will need to acquire the Golden Key in the prisons in order to open Valdane's cell.

This room is the one located off to the side of the corridor wherein all the fire spouts come alive (and the floor is a fiery red). Unfortunately, you can't ...
The way they created the patches was awful. I think a game company should have an .exe that puts everything where it' supposed to go regardless of what version you start with. You shouldn't have to guess they made a folder with all of the patch files in it, then move them where ...
This is a fairly well known problem with the patching system. I'm glad you were able to find a solution.

(FWIW, the exe patches think you should be running version 1.1, which was the initial retail release of the game. Somehow, there was a later retail release that used 1.2, and it ...

Patch v1.3... with a bug?

My v1.3 version of DL crashed ungloriously, leaving me with the need to re-install the game "out of the box" (which was a v1.2e).

I had updated it to v1.3 with a 36 MB .Zip file downloaded from www.dungeonlordsgame.com , before I'd ...

potion, and then immediately hit "escape" to pause the game.

This way, you won't get bashed while you try to drink your potion, and your HP gauge fills up. Neat, huh ...
