Sounds like the data2.cab file is corrupt (i.e. unreadable). Can you get another copy of that one file?

Well, my friend has a copy, but I'm pretty sure my computer is being evil. On almost every old game it finds a missing file or something.

When I try to install Morrowind on my new computer, it installs up to 91%, then I get a message that says;

Error: Data error(cyclic redundancy check).

After which the program closes. What should I do to fix it?

Wrong way to do it IMO. Have your weakest guy (a spellcaster) as the host as he is the one who will be out of harm's way most of the time. Spellcasters can also cast a whack of spells (or use magic items) to make him/her immune, invisible, protected to keep the 'host' alive.

I just reinstalled Torment on my new computer, modded and patched, and it works great, minus one problem. When spells are cast, the screen slows, flickers a bit, then continues. Once, I casted two spells at the same time and the game had a weird crash. Any advice?
