Thanks Sparrow, bu i was wearing it...put it in the inventory and click like a mad...nothing.

Something hass occurred... i edited the Bardur's.INI file to add gold so i can buy lots of items early, 'cos i started on HARD.
Maybe thats the catch....

But i tried to erase the altered ...

I've done most of the quest, retrieved the 1st part of the rod, talked to the blind fella, he sent me to the other blind dude (they are all blind actually) who sent me to the beholder area.
I've passed the ghoul area, cleaned the beholder lair, retrieved the 2nd part of the rod, killed the unseen ...
