One thing that I always did to cut down on the amount of wasted time and effort was to mark the door that I just entered from with a letter, like "B" for back. That way, when I returned, I knew which of the three or four doors would get me back to the beginning. The Wizard is available on ALL ...

Celestial Host was the most complex and long, but did very little damage to the Transcendent One. I found that Abyssal Fury and Deathbolt are fun too...

There should be a doorway that you enter in the Southmost corridor, that has Many-as-One in it. Should always be there. You don't really HAVE to deal with this weirdness anyway, but it can mean some experience points if handled discretely.

Fable is right to point out my poor choice of words. "Right" in this case was meant to mean the causing of a further action along a thread, or opening up a new area. If you kill an NPC or get them mad, you can stop the game from progressing, in certain cases! You can get all the Zombies and Dustmen ...

This game is the MOST complicated and difficult to figure out without outside help of any that I have played, and I have played them all multiple times. The importance of saying the right thing at the right time is incredibly annoying (when you don't do it right), due to the lack of certain outcomes ...

Mechanus' Cannon and Abyssal Fury are both pretty cool, and can do major damage. I guess it's just a matter of taste, and what you can use via scroll or memorization. The only mage that I have who is high enough to use these is Ignus, who I have to face in the Fortress anyway, so why waste the ...

Using Morte is a good tactic, but I did it without him. Just use the High level scrolls that you find, like Abyssal Fury, Mechanus' Cannon, Deathbolt and launch away. He will still do a lot of damage with his Blade Storm and other spells, but try to weaken him with the heavy stuff, then attack him ...

You can go back into the market area and try to find just a plain old hammer, but I'm not sure if the weapons guy there has one. You need to have a crowbar, and there is one available to you in the Thieves' headquarters that you just blew through to get to the Alley. Good luck.

I'm racking up 100,000's of points using Nordom in the UnderSigil area, where with his +5 in Bow he is whacking all the Larval Worms and Trelons that he can find. Just can't seem to hit a Glabrezu, due to the lack of +2 bolts...A really neat character to have in your party. I dropped Morte to pick ...

I checked with Vrischika and didn't see anything remotely resembling a Planar Cube. If they are referring to the Modron Cube, I gave that to the Tower of Skulls in Carceri, unfortunately, after I had killed the Modron wizard three or four times. Tell me this isn't what they mean...Pleeeaase.

Cube of my dreams

I asked for some help a while ago in finding the Planar cube, which Coaxmetal needs to escape the Siege Tower. Does no one know what I am talking about? Any info would be really appreciated...

Just get yourself the Strategy guide. Otherwise you will make so many mistakes in just talking with NPC's (as well as party members) that many threads will be cut off before you can even start them. The correct tact to take with characters, the correct Wisdom stat or charisma stat at the right time ...

Planar Cube

I've just started monitoring this message board, but I did a search and came up empty. Does anyone know how/where to get the Planar Cube that Coaxmetal the Iron Golem needs to make his escape from the Siege Tower? I tried the usual suspects, like Keldor the Godsman, Vrischika and Splinter the ...
