ok since i've tried allot and nothing works, i'm gonna use the game editor, but i have a Q about it :

how do you set your character about 10 meters forward, so i just get past te gate and nothing more because i don't feel much like cheating and directly goin to arindale(also i couldnt get back to ...

yes i have XP, and dx 9, i'l try to reinstall the game and reupdate, maybe get new dx just in case ,

yes i had version 1.00 and patched it to 1.4
however i patched it while beiing in the middle of the main quest, i think i was just in front of the cataombs or just after, could that have anything to do with it?

well as i said the other gates work fine because i already did the main quest and can get out the other ways, the problem however is that once i exit true the west gate i cant run out in the open because there is a metal fence lowered down that i cant go under(as i did the quest's needed to exit, it ...

i've got a prob getting out of fargrove trough the west gate(way to arindale)
i get out the gate but there is a sort of metal fence that i cant get past, it is lowered down from above and i cant go under it,
race = human
class = fighter,
the other exits of fargrove work just fine
