Doing the side quests vs. the main quest is entirely up to you. They made the game more non-linear for that 'good' reason :) IMO, I'd probly end up doing a couple side quests, then a couple main to keep my interest balanced out. I did find out 'some' fights cannot be won ...

The thing is that some can b bought in OC (merchants like Haljal, Nya, Fibba) and some in MoB (merchants like Mother Feodorra), and to make it even funnier some can b found during the game! I think 2 items from each set r easy to get (from merchants or during play) but the third one is ...
