as there were many similar postings here about xp, you had probably less xp because you did NOT have a henchman with you

I went quite well through watchers keep, but now i am stuck at the imprisioned one. Trying to hide on the platform in level 6 and taking him down slowly brought me dozens of monsters and a dead party. So i tried to take him down fast, but he seems to take hardly any damage...
Could anyone tell me ...

I was quite disappointed as my cleric (level 14) extinguished the shadow dragon with a finger of death spell the first try. Shouln't they have a higher magic resistence?
I for my part reloaded to kill him old-fashioned style with the sword

How far you can increase the weapon proficiencies depends on the class of your character. Minsc as a Ranger can only be increased to a maximum of two. The only class which can be increased to five (full) is the warrior

After removing the expierience cap, i brought my fighter to level 24. Up to 21 or so, every levelup reduced the THAC0, but not the last ones. Is this according to the AD&D rules (i haven`t got them), or are the rules for these levels not implemented in BG2?
If so, does there exist a higher level ...
