Dermin is a part of the Jaheira- quest . The quest is a part of the romance . ;)

You say that you've tried CLUA. What code, exactly? Have you tried spawning Dermin in? Have you tried to trigger the next event? There are many different CLUA-codes, you need to be more specific. ;)
