OK, I'm no spellcaster, which you should understand, as we're talking about "PLaying a melee class actually more challenging?".
Being no spellcaster, it doesn't prevent me from talking from experience battling them.
Now, if you say TimeStop is 1.5 rounds I'll just believe you, it just seemed to be ...

Sure didn't battle 40th level caster, but at these levels, combat issue must be even less certain, especially as duels were always with all equipment. I'll take my specific case : the animal companion alone will make sure you don't get killed by Timestop + 2 IGMS (if IGMS could even kill you ...

False. On an unrestricted PvP-enabled server Sorcerers are the best. If you lose, its because you were careless. Think about all the commonly banned spells...IMGS, Time Stop and sometimes Bigby's, Horrid Wilting etc. DND was never made for PvP balance

That's not true at all. DND was made for ...

I hate to ruin your builds but I love it when my mage meets a rogue/shadow dancer. Easiest thing around to kill :D

Except that my build is a Ranger/Shadowdancer, which is not the same thing at all (better BAB, # of attacks, favored enemies, high criticals, high HP, as hard to hit, hide in plain ...

Monks are clearly better when they stay pure : the class is made so that you lose a lot if you multiclass.
But multiclassing can be a huge boost for some classes.
For example, I like the Ranger class. But with Shadowdancer mixed carefully into it, I destroy everything in the OCs, especially once I ...

Each town people you can speak to has some special dialog were you ask them if they are alone, if they want protection, ... You can then extort them some money, and your alignment will shift several points to evil.
Do that to all the villagers you encounter and you will soon go back to Neutral.

But when you came to Luskan, the game automatically saved the game.
So you should go back from this save.

With little luck, you must have an automatic save done by the game when entering some area before killing the people, as you've done 5 quests.
Look for this "auto save" in your latest saves.

I think he means hot keys like r to rest, c for character sheet, i for inventory, o for options, q for quick save, j for the journal, space bar to pause the game, m (qwerty, "," for azerty) for the map, some arrow Home and End for the camera, H to remove every screen info, v to talk.

That's what I ...

It won't work actually. When I was lvl 14, I was lacking 1000+ XP to reach lvl 15, and tried that with the dryads. They gave me 4 XP each ! Same for the dwarves.
So no, you won't level up as fast with this method, as you would by playing the game.
Spoiler :

BTW, At level 15, with a superior archer ...

Look for the official NWN site where the modules are.
Search for (shadow over) daggerford, a VERY good module.
Then, you can look there for some of the higher rated modules. Some comes as 4-5 modules and get you from level 1 to 40.
I've found two modules to build your character up to level 40 after ...

No, actually, I would be a very poor master :)
There are a lot of visual clues on the screen, so much that I sometimes have to hit the space bar to see them all, when sth is wrong (meaning, you don't see any hit on your enemy). You can use the "chat window" too, which has lots of useful (yellow ...

I don't think so.
I play what I call a 'Finesse Ranger' (basically a Ranger/Shadowdancer based on DEX), and it is very challenging below 12th level, where you have to plan things sometimes (against bosses), or decide when to stop using the bow, when to hide (in plain sight), or when to use your ...

My (european, french actually) diamond version never asked for the CD, but I installed everything when it asked for (minimal, recommended or everything I think).

Edit :
Now that I see the post below, it's true that at the time, I upgraded right away (patch 1.66 IIRC).

Two things :
- Shadow Armor is NOT the best for a Ranger
- You can be really rich and have powerful weapons if you're patient

DEX Rangers are better than STR Rangers, as all Rangers advantages are based on DEX (skills, feats).
And as the Shadow Armor puts a limit on your DEX and penalties on DEX ...
