I did try searching first, but couldn't find anything that seemed relevant to my problem. I was wondering whether there was a known issue with, say, the 6600GT or A64 processors or something, or possibly if it's just the known issue of KotOR running badly no matter what you run it on.

So, I recently decided to play KotOR 1 and 2 again. 1 doesn't run too good, though.

I've got an Athlon 64 3000+ with a gig of RAM and a 6600GT, and I get about 5-10 fps most of the time, with occasional spurts of 30+ at random. Turning the video settings up or down doesn't seem to have any effect ...
