Thanks for the reminder about not getting XP. I guess any level that doesn't have a spell that matches my description would be used for fast casting damage spell in an attempt to steal the kill and get experience. A fighter/cleric was my first. Idea for such a character but I think a pure caster ...

Concept Character: Demon Summoner/dark magic
Alright, I did a quick search and I haven't seen anything similar to this concept. Basically, the idea is a solo character (either a cleric or a mage) whose main battle tactic is summoning pit fiends and the like to destroy enemies, and also employing insta-kill spells such as finger of death ...

Is this party too lacking in magic?
Alright, well I have never played BG1 before, but I have played BG2 lots and am going to attempt my first run through the whole trilogy (using Tutu). For my PC, I am going to create a Chaotic Good Wild Mage because I've never played one full-heartedly, and I can't imagine a Wild Mage being anything ...

Several Random Questions
Hi everyone, it's been along time since I've played through BG2 (with TOB) and I've only ever played through it with friends online, never enjoying the NPC interactions I hear so much about, so I have decided to play through with some NPCs.

Belm/Scarlet Ninja-to Combo and a Spear Question
Well it turns out I did too much predrinking and am unable to drive to my friend's birthday party, so here I am thinking about interesting combos for BG. So, Belm and Scarlet, which each add an attack. I wonder just how insane this could get with Grand Mastery and 3 stats in dual wielding for a ...

Fighter/Illusionist and Ranger/Cleric duo
Hey, I know that I posted this in the BG1 forum as well, but I figured it would be appreciated if I kept the info I Recieved separate. I want to know if this duo is viable to take through BG2. I've only ever run full parties or solo characters through, so I'm unsure of how a duo would change the ...

Fighter/Illusionist and Ranger/Cleric duo
Hey everyone, I'm a long time player and skulker on these forums, but this is my first post. Anyways, I've played BG2 and ToB for years, and recently picked up BG1 at a garage sale, along with TotSC. My friend and I are looking to duo the whole game, only taking on appropriate NPCs to fulfill their ...
