Water-jumping puzzle

This bites....lol....I can NOT get past this stupid puzzle. It's bad enough that i have to cheat as it is..using a trainer because i lost three almost four fingers on my right hand in an accident so dexterity is not my thing..thats why i always loved the older style rpg's ...

I figured it wasn't important to the mainline quest...but I just HATE!!!!..missing out on any XP I can squeeze out of a game...not to mention always being reminded of my failure to complete the quest every time I open my log book.. ...I let my character stand ...
