Finally solved the problem which was my own fault. Mia culpa!! When I ran through the game the second time there was no problem with the statues. I went back to my last save on the first game and looked in my equipment to see what was different. Lo and behold, I still had two sarcophagen ...

Duh!

I must have gotten punch drunk from all the minotaurs. They were so crowded around me I did not see the keyholes alongside the doors. Worked fine once I used them.

Started anew and have run into another glitch. In Irynthabl Maze I have finished the maze and retrieved the two death keys, but can't open the double doors to get into the sanctum. Did I miss something?

I picked up all the sarcophagen jewels and placed two of them in the statues in the southern section of the Irynthabl Maze. When I got to the third statue it was not spinning and there was no opening to place the last jewel in. The secret door is still closed and I can't get to the next section. Is ...
