Im in the room in the shadow realm with the 3 athena guards and i cannot get them to activate so that i can fight them.

How do u get moonstones?
I'm new at this game it is very great and i am tired of walking everywhere so if anyone could tell me how to get them i know where but i dont know how. Plz help thanks
