When I commend them to attack they just keep falling down, and could not make a single hit. Can it be an AI problem or a possible bug? As I understand there is no order to bash them. Is there?

I am at the third phase in the fght of King of Shadow. I finished the little King of shadows and stuck at the third phase. My melee ones could not bash the statues, they keep falling down in front of it whne try to hit any of the statue. What am I missing? I can only harm statues with spells. But it ...
