For a while I have been experiencing this problem and have ignored it. But now there are places where it just keeps occuring over and over again. The error i receive is:

There is a problem with the disk you are using. It may be dirty or damaged.

This only happens whenever I go to certain places ...

this happened to me and i found it a huge pain to find all of them. Somehow i only collected about 9 or 10 daedra hearts and NO vampire dusts and went to talk to the mage head(forget his name at the moment) he said that i was re-admitted into the guild even though i didnt have all of the dusts and ...

I want to enchant some items with chamelion. I have a filled Azuras star (1600) and some blank clothes. I have a couple chamelion spells that i personally own in my inventory. I go to the altar and chamelion is not listed as an effect i can put on it. there are plenty of other choices but not one ...

I am confused by the leveling system OBlivion uses. When you level, you are given a chance to increase 3 of your major skills. You can also get bonuses if yo u have used those skills enough. Im confused about that. Is there really a point to bonuses besides reaching 100 faster?

Very odd. Armor, weapons, etc, enchant alike. What exactly happens when you try to select a weapon to enchant? And what weapons have you tried to enchant?

In order to enchant a weapon you need a filled soul gem. the higher the soul the better. you can put one enchantment per soul gem, if i remember well, i'm not sure. also, you have to put all enchantments once. you cannot enchant a weapon or item that already has an enchantment on it. maybe this is ...

At the Altar of Enchanting in the Arcane UNiversity it doesnt give me an option to enchant my weapons. It only lets me enchant my clothing and shields(i.e. helmet, cuirass, boots, shield etc.) help appreciated!

I have Azura's star but can't trap any soul in it. The souls are all "too big" to fit in it. I've seen my friends use it on multiple beasts. Any help appreciated.

two words: Apostheosis Staff. A couple shots of that killed Umbra with extreme ease. I ALWAYS turn to that weapon when i am in a real tight situation and it always pulls through.

Somehow i killed a member of the mages guild. So now i have to get 20 daedra hearts and 20 vampire dusts or whatever. Does anyone know a real easy place to get these? thanks.

Ive searched the forums and i have come across what you need to level up, but not any specific ways to help you efficiently level up. Does anyone recommend areas or actions you do that help you level up quickly and give you the most skill increases?
