how do i do it? in a previous game / party, I was stuck there and they were slaughtering me and i could not break off combat to flee ...

how do I even GET TO Verbobonc? I guess I am asking for a spoiler because I have not known how to do this so far?

NOTE: I am playing TOEE with the Official Patch 2 and CO8 Mod 5.0
