What exactly are you struggling too choose from? Just use recommended if your really stuck

I always find henchmen useful, fighter ones were great to have when I was a mage. Plus the whole, mage against thousands of things trying to kill you is a good reason to have a henchmen

Just take a break from it at some point and continue with the old character or just keep pushing yourself on. I found sometimes the repetitive fighting did me in but the storyline always kept me hooked

When was the last time you saved before going in? Would need more information but if your henchmen are equipped well and your have enough reserection rods, they should be able to kill them off eventually.

Reviving this thread as since my attempts result in death, Aribeth and Deekin tend to survive and do inflict some damage though as yet killed nobody, my spells seem to do no damage whatsoever, can't go back and get Aribeth's weapon upgraded now that I actually have the money to do that. Used drow lady in chapter 2 until I betrayed the seer, did that stop me from using her in chapter 3?

Just started the level, after betraying the seer and was asked what henchmen I wanted to summon back. I have the slowing one and the attracting one but not the crusher, need one more blue power for that and can't find any. I'll have to see if I have any saves far enough back unless there is a shop that has it?
