I got a noob question. the damage on spears are 1d6, halberds are 1d10. If i had 18strength, how is the damage calculated? and is it going to be a very big differences between 1d6 and 1d10?

looks like halberd > spears in general....

so what class would you guys suggest if i m looking for maximum melee damage output with spear/halberd?

does the skill single weapon style works on these 2h weapons too?

I just finished SoA and ToB once as a swashbuckler.

Personally I really like spear/halberds type weapons (mainly spears). I'm trying to make a high damage output character using spear/halberds.

1) usually what kind of spells do clerics casts during or prior to battle? My friend told me i should be casting bless, chant, defensive harmony.
