Re: The Displines

I have not heard of this.

I know that you need some stats to use certain disciplines. For higher Mortis for example, you'll need about 70 INT. Obfuscate Cloak the Gathering you'll need higher Wits if I'm not mistaken. You'll need high Wits & INT for some Traumaturgies.

It is possible that you ...

Re: Is it possible to defeat the Sheriff without Guns?

There's an old post that covered this topic long ago. The walkthrough to beat the sheriff without guns is on the link:

I fixed this oversight in one of my unofficial patches...
Wesp... What would Bloodlines be without you? 6 years later I got back to playing Bloodlines and it has great replay value because of your patches. A GREAT thank you from clan Tremere... (Spoiler: who by the way didn't end up well in the ...

Gaining humanity.

For some reason, in the game I bought, telling Ecaterina that waiting to destroy the golem would result in mortals getting killed did not do it for me. It only works with the Prince and asking if he doesn't care about the kine, if Christof can save them too. Maybe later versions ...

Where to find the Tzimisce hand?

Hello all,

One problem I had with this game is that one great item, a 1-handed Shriveled Tzimisce hand, that yields 30 aggravated damage, has a 99 speed rating and level 3 potence. In the multiplayer you may add this awesome weapon, but in the game single player, I could not find it. Did anyone ...

Gaining humanity in Masquerade Redemption?

In the Single Player mode, I heard that you can actually gain humanity...

-some spoilers below-

I´ve played this game several times and the only part of the game that I know you can gain humanity is by pissing off the vampire Prince of Prague at the time (Rundolf Brandl) with your worry about the ...

1.) It's a complete waste of XP to raise faith as a human. Christof won't remain human for very long and you can't stop Ecaterina from embracing you with high faith. So it's pointless.

2.) The "holy" items, such as swords, star of david, etc, can only be used by humans with faith. It doesn't work ...

Online play

It used to be at won.net.
It has been so long since I last played the game online I no longer know. Visit the Planet Vampire (google it) website and there you should be able to find out how to play online now. I know that you still could in 2010. The game lasted that long. Myself I ...

Evil in this game...? Depend on your point of view.

Great game...

Great characters... I don't think any of the characters are really evil... Well, we obviously see Andrei as evil because he fleshcrafts humans. But in his point of view, it's like how humans slaughter livestock. He trully believes ...

Melee from Nines

I'm pretty sure that a high melee rating won't hurt you.
It has been a while since I last played Bloodlines (I've been playing Redemption via lan with 3 friends, 4 laptops, it's fun that way) but I remember that I did not use any XP to reach levels 4 and 5 of melee. There's the ...

Bloodlines question?

Maybe you're in the wrong forum. This is for Vampire: Masquerade Redemption, and on the sewers, there are electric traps that you just have to walk past it. In Vampire Bloodlines, there is a sewer mission that you have to turn off the eletricity either via computer or hack ...

Lethality

Weapon "lethality" is all about the ability of a kindred to soak the damage done with stamina.
If a weapon does "bashing" damage, it will be easier for vampires to soak that damage with their stamina points, while "lethal" damage are tougher for stamina to soak. Aggravated damage cannot ...

Windows 7

I have run the game using Windows 7.

It did not work when you plug in the CD 2 (I have an original copy) and when the autoplay shows up you click at "play". But if you go to the game's directory, and double-click at the vampire.exe file, the game will work if you installed it properly ...

Maximillian Strauss

I'm a Maximillian Strauss guy.

Not only because I like playing as a Tremere. It's because Strauss is the one who respects you the most no matter what clan you are and truly believes in the camarilla. Strauss handles himself very well in the game and it's good to work with him ...

Vampire Damage

I know that it can be puzzling in the beginning.

But modern weapons only give vampires "bashing" damage because they have no vital organs. So to them, a pistol shot is like a little cut to us. They also heal faster and are more resilient. When you use a sword in the game, you ...

Humanity + Ending

*Spoilers*
When you get to the last boss, "vukolak" or whatever his name is, you better have some humanity. If you have too much humanity (70+, I think), you don't get choices. You have to fight him. If you have humanity 40 - 55, you get choices and you can choose whatever. If ...

Coterie members not moving

It's simple: you can click at the light so that they do not move as you do, but if you do that (turn off the small green light) just select Christof or whoever is leading your coterie and click at the big button who calls everyone back. Christof will say "return to me ...
