Brimstone is great. Burning dmg finishes off what your staff leaves alive. For ring of flame i'm not sure either. One thing i've noticed though is that the monsters got a bad habit of closing in :P About the pets: Can i have both out? If yes i might consider putting points on both. If not its not ...

I'm lvl 13 right now...What i've done is this:

maxed ternion
maxed earth enhancement
maxing brimstone (4/8)
maxing ring of flame (1/12)

In the future i will :

max lich king and his ranged attack

Shall i put points on arcane lore or dark covenant for attack ...
