hmm, give this a try

go to "My Document" > "My Games" > "Dungeon Siege 2"

there you will find a file called "DungeonSiege2.cfg"

open it in notepad and see what it says.

mine for example says


driver_description = NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500
width = 1024
height = 768
bpp = 16
mp_active_party = Boov ...

I have the same problem as xvaiper7.

i bought the deluxe edition, installed DS2, went fine. completed it.
upgraded to v2.2 along the way, still fine.
installed DS2:BW, went fine.
tried to play DS2:BW, and i got the same error as xvaiper7.

i was really annoyed because i obviously cant complete the ...
