Romance can be a nice thing in a campaign, but I think that it is hard to realize in roleplaying session. None of my players have ever tried (yet). It should be cool to see in effect sometime.

But I agree that it shouldn't affect the main plot or the focus on the main plot.

To put things in to some sort of perspective. Elminster taught most of the seven sisters. The main difference powerwise in the novels between the Simbul and El is that the Simbul is a bit more revengeful.

I don't know a whole lot about Larloch. Where did he come from? I don't know the forgotten ...

I believe that logically that the most powerful wizard in the realms should be the king of the Shades. Especially considering the fact that he is the sole surviving archmage from Netheril. I don't know what exactly happened to "Shadow" (his former name during Netheril), but he should kick ass.

If you want to add new gods to the forgotten realms you would have to considering the following (I might forget a few things)

-portfolio
-personal history
-relationship to existing gods
-clergy (rituals, unique identification marks)
-domains
-favored weapon
-Possible prestige class for clerics or ...

In the supplement for fighters and monks, there is a magical item: "Bow of true arrows" Can anyone explain why this item is priced at only 4000 gp?
