Glad I'm not the only one who sometimes does that... It's a good thing I've never been into gambling.. I can just imagine what would happen :eek:
@Shantei,
if all the rolling in IWD irritates you, you might also want to consider using Dale Keeper, which is an editor. That way you can allocate ...

Character creation - Spending them points!
Does anyone else find the whole 'Reroll' thing annoying? Like, you're not sure if each of your characters are getting an equal amount of characters? Or do you try and get them equal...?

Rounds and speed factors - Explanation please!
Can someone explain this for me please?
It says that every character is on a personal 7 second initiative round and that all rules apply in this time period. How exactly can you tell when you'll attack with speed factors? Like a speed factor of 3 means 3 tenths of a round (7 seconds) .. bit tricky ...

The game is a direct port of the D&D rules, which are turn based, so that's why it's that way. It is not about exploring a huge world, but about strategic combat. If that's not your thing, that's fine, but Temple's objective was pretty clear, and it succeeds, in my opinion, very well. I personally ...

ToEE: A game which I never really got round to.
This is weird .. I've had this game for years now and I personally think it's the worst RPG I've had. First of it's VERY turn based and you make your move on the spot. There's a level limit of 10 which sucks and the world is so SMALL. How big or long is this game? Because it seems to me as though ...

Can someone put the spark back into NWN for me?
I got Neverwinter Nights when I was 11 or 12 .. I can't remember exactly. But I do remember it was my first ever RPG .. and I loved it so much. There's something about the first RPG you buy that makes it a special one, simply because it's the first one that you know. Well, it was NWN for me and I ...

You are going to get a lot of varying opinions on this, and there is no "right" answer.
For me, personally , I much prefer IWD over IWD2. I find the story and overall atmosphere to be far more engaging and immersive.
I have finished IWD a couple of times, and in fact I just reinstalled it again. I ...

What do you like about IWD?
I've had the game for a while now but never really got round to properly playing it. I guess the fact that having 6 party members can be putting off. Also, the customisation of your character is really limited and annoying. Also when spending character points .. it varies. I think that's ...
