this may sound like noob question but I've only been playing less than a week, at least as far as TQ.

my question is this, are there item codes like in Oblivion and most of the other CRPG's that I've played

no crack, I finally got it to work after uninstalling it again and reinstalling it, then patching it before I played

sorry if anyone considers this necroposting, I'm having a similar problem. I can't patch the game at all, I'm stuck at 1.01, even doing what was suggested above and doing one patch at a time, I start the patching program and almost as soon as I do the program crashes with no explanation or anything ...

I'm having a similar problem, for some reason even though I know the bands are there I can't access them and it won't let me through the door without them
