Elistree has always been a good favorite of mine. Whenever I play a good Drow it is usually a Cleric of her (read the guide to Dieties you would be surprised at the number of good drow out there it is far more then just Drizzt)

Lathander is also farly workable

Just curious but what else did Artemis go on to do. I usually don't like most villian (I suffer from a rare disease where I always play the good guy in games and do a terrible villian that dies quickly) but Artemis was different even when he was still the bad guy. He is one example of a Lawful ...

First you need a character. The main things behind your character is his story, stats, class, and race.

Story- You make it up

States- Role 4 six sided dice and drop the lowest one. Repeat 5 more times. The six results are asigned to your six stats. Strength, Dexterity (Agility), Constitution ...

I beleave that Fable is correct. I'm a big fan of sorcerers but a friend of mine prefers Mages so we always debat them and it seem that the sorcerers one big weakness it a lack of spell verity. Mages get every spell they can get their hands on but a sorcerer learns about 1 to 3 each time he levels.

I beleave there was one elven chain mail in the game. Also the lore let my mage free up spells. Gave the bard a speer and he attacked from behind the fighter types in my party to help. Used crossbows quite well and was just in general a good rounder for the party.

I would probably have this

Paladin (party leader) Human
Rouge/Fighter (thief and backup fighter) Halfling
Druid (Healer buffer) Elven
Cleric/Fighter (Healer Spellcaster and backup fighter) Dwarven
Mage (Buffer and Anti-Magic) Gnomish
Sorcerer (Attack Caster) Human

Please inform me about the henchmen

I noticed that Gamebanshee released info on the 6 henchmen. Well I always thought there was 5 :D . Could somebody tell me about the henchmen. I know there are an elven cleric, half-orc barbarian, gnomish sorcerer, dwarven monk, and halfling rouge. What else is there?

Elminster

I was wondering if anyone has ever been in a game where the players killed Elminster and how they pulled that off.

Techniqually any gnomes you play games with are gnomish heroes if that helps. :)

Final battles and Spell-casters *Spoilers*

I heard from some people that the final battle is really hard for Arcane spell casters since they can't rest to get more spells and suck at just about everything else. I found the best way to deal with this though. They are called scrolls and that extra 100,000 gold at the end of the game. I started ...

Oddly three math teachers i've known played DnD  Also I think that a raccon makes a great familiar. One that is too bad at combat but still within the range of other familiars (a.k.a. avoids it if possible)

You have to remember that gnomes aren't heroes usually. They make potions, equipment, scrolls, etc. for heroes most of the time.

I looked him up just to prove my point and he is a level 16 ranger. Not all rangers trained for forest despite what the players guide states. Dwarven Rangers dwell in caves usually for example. From the begining Drizzt trained as a steathly, dual-wielder that is intimetly familiar with his ...

Perhaps it would be best if this was asked in an official forum for the chance that we can get an official answer. I've seen people dualwield rapier successfully before so I do believe the rules for them were altered for NWN from 3ed.

If you got the definitions of rapiers from the players guides then I beleive you are wrong about them being light for medium creatures. I've read the Neverwinter Nights manual and it clearly stats that rapiers are light for medium sized creatures and thus makes a great off handed weapon. Just ...

Drow get the plus to charisma because they are very good looking and are wise in the ways of lieing. Deep Gnomes (sibivid-something) are average as far as looks and such but like mostly with other gnomes under the earth, thus their social skills suck. Most people will still hate the drow even with ...

When I first faced Mel my party was Me (Archer), Keldorn, Nalia, Aerie, Jan, and Anomen. I had no trouble when I finally tried it with my mages taking offensive action. Before going for her I had every mage learn a sequencer with three lower magic resistances. At each battle I hit her with that has ...
