There's also the Morrowind run in 7:30 (the same person even did a run in 6 minutes but unfortunately never submitted it officially).

Sorry for ressurecting this old thread, but I''m really wondering how you're doing this.
With your assassin build I get about 20-30 ...

You can start HoW just before completing Lower Dorn's Deep

Once in HoW you can return to Kuldahar several times after specific key events in the storyline.

I recently played a HOF-only game with a 4-man party starting at level 1.
Summons, Web and Entangle are your best friends.

Summons are great early in the game as the summoned monsters are as strong as the Goblings/Orks.
Once you get the Web spell the game becomes pretty easy.
Your tankers/decoys ...

Where's the problem? Did you import an old party into HOF Mode or started a new one?

There's no Stoneskin in BG1.
I don't think tutu changes anything about this.
