I find the best information at Neverwinter News, Trailers, Screenshots, Previews, Reviews, Guides -- Neverwinter Nights 2 Vault . They have lists of PWs (they call them Gameworlds) along with descriptions and player ratings.

I have not played any NWN2 PWs yet, I currently play on a NWN1 PW that ...

I really enjoyed "A Dance with Rogues" 1 and 2. They have a mature rating but if you enjoy playing a rogue they are a blast. Good storyline, fun challenges, great NPCs.

Rogues are one of the most versatile classes. Rogues can be designed to do many different things. They do not have to be evil at all. Think of a rogue who focuses on conversation skills like diplomacy and sense motive. They have many skill points so they make great party spokespeople. You can make a ...

The gauntlets work fine in a patched game. They do in fact give +3 to strength. The issue is that ability bonuses from items don't stack. In other words - if you have another strength bonus item +3 and you add the ironfist gauntlets you don't get +6, you only get the +3.

I believe the bludgeoning ...

Barbs mix well with rogue levels due to the armor restrictions - but I see you are looking for a more powerful tank so rogue may not be ideal.

One suggestion would be to start taking fighter levels. Fighters have access to more feats per level and those extra feats can really boost your damage and ...

I'm sorry if this is off topic - but I think you have bigger problems here. The patch update to 1.04 should work...period. If it doesn't your game install is messed up...period. I see in another thread that you have already re-installed the game several times. That leads me to believe that the game ...

Btw, I do not have any patches as I cannot use 1.03, and am unable to patch it to 1.02 as there seems to be no mirror for 1.01 or a full 1.02 patch anywhere. If it's a bug it may have been fixed in one of these.

The most recent official patch is 1.04 and was released last week. If you are having ...

I had trouble with this battle myself. Its tough to beat with melee characters. I tried several times and then went back to the keep and got Sand, Qara, the cleric, kelgar and my rogue/ranger. I spread the characters out and used summons (a couple of elementals and such) to draw the dragons attacks ...

You could definitely go with a rogue/cleric. You really only need about 5 levels of rogue to handle most traps and locks. So you could mix in a few prestige levels as well.

One way to go would be a haffer rogue/cleric. Halflings have rogue as their preferred class. They also have a bonus to ...

Good to hear. I am quite happy with frame rates with my older 9600XT at 1024x768. A 7600GS or ATI equivalent is a great solution for this game. The game plays very well with a 2.0Ghz processor or higher, 1 gig of ram or higher, and at least an ATI 9600 or Nvidia 6600 or better card. And quite ...

Pretty sure I killed all three groups, say 99.99%, but I never had one up on a hill. This isn't the same hill as the mystic is it?

There is a path next to one of the braziers that leads up a small hill - the huge elemental got stuck up there when it spawned and until I went up the hill it did not ...

Are you 100% certain you killed all three groups? The reason I ask is that one of the groups was not near the brazier in my game. I had to go up to the top of a hill to find them. ;)

Good question about marching order - I am not sure if you can change this or not.

What you can do is go to the character options screen and customize the AI. You can choose different follow distances for each character as well as basic scripts for melee vs. missile and spellcasting AI. I always ...

I thought I would have to take a fighter level to - but I was able to take martial weapon proficiency with my bonus feat without taking a fighter level - not sure if it is supposed to work that way or not - but that allows me to progress a bit quicker.

I am going to run this character up to ...

Good points. I rolled up a human wizard with the following stats:

Human: S-15 D-15 Con-14 Int-15 Wis-10 Ch-8

There are a good number of +3 strength and Dex items available so once I have them I will have 18 stength and Dex. I would then pump Int at level breaks to get to 19 by level 16.

With a ...

Good ideas for the Eldritch Knight Magrus. I was also thinking that tensors transformation would be a nice spell to use in melee once you have used up some of the offensive spells. My EK will specialize in two handed swords. The intention was to make the classic "Galdalf type" mage/fighter.

I am not a power-gamer type - I like to role play a bit and choose feats that fit my play style - so I can just relay my own preferences.

I went with a two-weapon specialist so my feats were melee intensive. I went with dodge, mobility, spring attack, and two weapon defense, improved two weapon ...

Maybe a ranger/rogue would work for you. This is my preferred character. The ranger has either two weapon fighting or bow specialization, an animal companion, and good melee. Couple that with a rogue and you get a stealthy character who can open locks and disarm traps as well as put points in "use ...
