i havent tried mp yet but mabye if only one of you talket to emmindor and the other stayed outside the tower the game may only be recognizing one of you as the quest completor and is actually asking the other if he/she has the horn

Has anyone found a fix for this problem? we are having the exact same problem. I really don't want to start over again. So the game is pretty much a bust for us because we can't get past this spot.
