I had a similar experience in the second dungeon on the first battlefield. In the first dungeon I found 3 of the total 5 quest items while the second dungeon had nothing at the bottom, except some fruit in a barrel. Haven't gotten to the third and last dungeon yet, but I'm expecting the remaining 2 ...

Yes, I've read this - have searched FAQ's and boards on several sites for a solution to this problem. The closest I got was finding several others asking the same - but none of them got replies. :p
