for me it was Balor the demon in the underdark! the one the swifnerblin(sp?) tell you to kill. my solo sorceror had a rough time finishing him off because of his 90% magic resistance. he killed my earth elemental before i even got control of it! after dying a couple of times, i remembered the slayer ...

why go for the kensai/thief?
i mean isnt a straight fighter/thief better. he can backstab and detect traps in full armour. who needs hide in shadows when you have potions of invisiblity? i mean i have an AC of -8 dual wielding the answerer and avurdangal (sp?) (thanks Pebz :D ). all i do is drink ...

my friend, my solo sorceror took those guards on melee and most of them died with one ...

you have to kill a demon and you get into a fight with the mages. if you can handle that you should be ok.

well, i play without the x-cap, so that shouldnt be a problem. and i usually always solo, so im past the x-cap by the time i leave the underdark. so just keep them as level ten.

Well, its not actually creating a weapon..more like modifying one

i need that altered to 3 points of wisdom for a turn...
