I'm in the Vale of Shadows, is there anyplace I can get mage armor yet? The blacksmith in kuldahar doesn't seem to have it. Thanks again.

OK, thanks. I got her to learn magic missile but it's grayed out when you try to cast it. Why is that? She's level 3.

Okay, so they can cast spells like mages and sing songs? How do I teach them songs? Do they learn the same spells as mages?

I just started playing this game. I have a party with a bard in it (lvl 2 or 3 can't recall) and I can't really see the use of them. Aren't they supposed sing magical songs or something? I can't find any spells that they will learn. Tell me how you use a bard please.

Okay, I was able to kill myrkul's sendling, but now I have a problem on the 2nd floor. My thieves can't detect the traps, thereby stopping me from advancing in the game. I think their trap detection ability is around 50%, is that just too low? Started the game over with a different party:

2xRanger ...

I tried lots of different parties actually, this one is the only one that let me get this far. I all the other classes kept dying on me.

My party is:
Three lvl4 rangers + lvl 2 druid

I'm stuck in the tomb of the vale of shadows. I can't kill myrkul's sendling. Ordinary weapons don't seem to work against him. I've tried creating a mage, but she can only cast a spell once before I have to go back and buy it again :confused: Same thing ...
