Well, keep in mind you can't hurt ghosts w/o using magic or daedric weps. So I'm not all too sure that using hand-to-hand will do much. Unless its possible to find gloves that contribute dmg. (dunno if any exist)

Stole from the brotherhood
Right after doing the first task for them the messenger dude was talking and i pickpocketed him and since that ghost thing has come after me twice but i was in jail and my fist would not hurt it and now it will not come after me and when ever i go to the brotherhood they just say i must beat it ...
