I finally solved the mess. I cast sanctuary on Anomen and switched the eggs. With the boots of speed I hustled out of the temple. I cast haste on the entire party and hustled to Phaere's. I had to kill 3 Drow along the way. Once in the Phaer'e apartment, I hit pause before she could turn hostile. I ...

I have tried the Sancutary spell, invisibility, and several different methods. I can get the eggs, but the whole city goes argo and I end up fighting everyone, even Phaere.

Any suggestions. Is this a bug?
