Wow, nice guide. It really covers a lot of things that could come into play when summoning fiends. Don't forget having that Magic Circle agnst evil and Dimensonal Anchor up. I've found that fiends of all types are more willing to aid you if their completly powerless.

People are asking why from a roleplaying standpoint, why a mage would have a stoneskin up always? Because if the mage is adventuring, their expecting trouble, and the stoneskin is up so when they meet that trouble their not mince meat.

I cant log onto Argyle. It says that I dont have the right version, although I checked and I downloaded everything. But, was it right to put the hak pak in the hak folder? Any response is welcome.

It was very fun. Too easy though, our charcters were overpowered.

I only put demi-liches and liches first because i have a lich charcter

Really the main evil for me would be who's trying to kill me at the moment. But heres a thought.

Tough one but i gotta say my favorite spell is shapechange.
(heres what one evil sorcerer charcter did)

Commoner:hey look at that squirrel
Commoner:aw its so... AHHHHHH
(he changes from squirrel to demon)
Commoner:RUN FOR YOUR LIVES
Commoner:AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Sorcerer:HAHAHAHAHA(Evil laugh)

I was wondering someone knows why the Raven framiliar was posioning the enemy. Was this a bug? If not, what does the poison do?

1 spell can make all the differnce though these deffensive spells may help(they arnt in any order, just naming some)

stoneskin, shield, mage armor, preconation, cats grace, endurance, wall of fire, globe of invulnrability, protection from spells, protection from evil, fire shield, spell turning ...

psionics are much more balanced in 3ed, although our psion was overpowered, I think it was just the fact he was a vampire that caused that.

Playing a sorcerer untill lvl 14, i might be able to help, though my sorcerer had slightly diffrent tactics, i still know a lot about spells and such.

lvl 5-Cone of Cold, Dismissal, Feeblemind, Bigby's Interposing Hand, Teleport, Cloudkill

lvl 6-Acid Fog, Chain Lightning, Circle of Death ...

Uhhh, whopps I meant Ranger/Wizard, and those are the wrong stats, they are my Pnp Rogues stats. Sorry about that.

I have decided to change my charcter after finding out i didnt like my other one. My revised charcter is Saeril Karaskdiir, a half elven rogue/wizard. His stats are:
Str-10
Dex-15
Con-12
Int-16
Wis-8
Cha-14
I will post my history soon, probaly tomarrow, when I have finshed it.

Hmm intresting. We havnt tried to kill elminster but we have tried to kill Tiamat. Failed in the first 4 rounds.
