apply patch 1.6 perhaps helps

i noticed same when stacking items that the result sometimes
got too advanced for you and many other things too.

could be a bug.

it seems fixed in latest patch - have not seen it since.

it happened in 1.5
but i havent seen it in version 1.6 yet

install DX9 and the ageia

I had similar problems on 8800GTS + Vista

the game ran fine through the intro video with sound
and then there was a setup screen
where you choose the character etc
but surprise - no sound and quickly died.

First i didnt install DX9 since Vista is supposedly DX10
so i ...

as for potions

i use same method, drag a stack of attribute
increasing potions to a hot key, then use the key until the
stack is empy

once you pick any such up again the toolbar simply shows
that you have other than 0 then just hit the key to use it
again.

manual doesnt say it, but the game actually supports it

There are a number of automatic bars the game gives you
that maps to the keys 1-9 and 0

However, you can reassign them

I use the one i get to by F8 key

Then open inventory 'i' key (or spells etc)

Then if something is already assigned to ...

multiple items sold using CTRL key

To sell a stack of 99 wolfhearts for example

hold CTRL key, click down on the stack of items with LMB
and then drag it over to the salesman, drop it and all of them sold
