Reading A Feast for Crows from the asoiaf series now. I still hate Cersei and Daenerys, but Sansa was more likable this time around. I have a Dance with Dragons waiting and I'm really waiting to get to that, but I have to revise on the previous books first.

I remember it was 3-4 fights. Also, you don't get much money. Well I didn't.

I liked Dragon Age. The combat was nice and while the game could use a little less level scaling your enemies were pretty well thought out and interesting.

It's this sort of stuff that I can never believe. I just cannot imagine a person who would actually say stuff like this. It's not like I don't trust the sources I'm reading, but...but how can such people exist?

That's pretty fascinating, but yeah I wouldn't expect this to become a part of everyday life in a long time. I'd have no problem eating food made like this, but I bet a whole lot of people would be against this.

Chldren of Hurin is a rip off from a tale in Kalevala, Finlands national book. Tolkien admired the book so it's no suprise either.

Nowadays I'd take the book only if it's good. If it's mediocre or worse then I would rather see it as a movie. Books just take more time as they have more content. I'm willing to watch a mediocre movie, but I don't like reading a mediocre book.
