That's done, in nearly every instance, to make money, by people who have no emotional investment in the product whatsoever. I'm assuming that's not the case with your comic, though, so--bringing up cross-medium merchandising...? Probably not really appropriate.

It's well drawn, I guess (I never really read comics so I don't have a lot to compare with). It isn't exciting, to be honest. The dialogue isn't interesting enough to keep me reading (especially since I know how the story goes, which might have kept me reading otherwise).
