Advice from the exaulted ones?

This is my first time through IwD and Im having a difficult time in Lower Dorns Deep.

My party is :

Fighter 9
Multi Fighter/Thief 8/10
Fighter 9
Multi Fighter/Mage 8/9
Mage 11
Cleric 9

It sounds like im not as buff as I might need to be.

Scuse the spelling ifn Ive got it wrong.

Supposedly this item allows the casting of three specific priest
spells a day but I cant seem to find anyway to access them.
Ive tried all of my good characters of all classes and none
has worked.

Am I missing something? Is this maybe a bug?

Thanks Grunt that makes sense.

They arent red circled but they have hostile dialog and I cant
use the armory or potion shop.

Ah well, Ill just keep trekking to the hand for supplies.

Im wondering if I accidentially killed a prisoner in the Dragons Eye caves somewhere.

Ive played through to Dorns Deep but no change.

Is there a way to fix your reputation in Kuldahar?
