Ive come straight into the room and clicked on him and chirs runs up and then hits the wall he cant go any further ive tryed it with all my characters and it does not work i cant get too him

HI all im new too this but ive been playing the vampire masquerade and ive got up too newyork and im stuck on the part where u talk too devnull it wont let me get too him its as if theres an ivisible wall infront of him does anyone no how i can get past this are am i stuck like this for ever pls ...
