Imoen is quite simple. If you multiclass she's level 2, else level 1. It won't matter if you've 0 or 1000 XP.

1. Multiclass PC's (or NPC's) count as level 2, and there is no way Imoen, Xzar, or Khalid will be at level 1 when then join a multi-class PC ...

2) Your XP don't count, only your level. Multiclasses are considered 1 level higher, so a multiclass character is always considered at least level2.

Ah. Thank you. I couldn't figure out why a character with less experience was generating higher level NPC's.
