I think that there would be multiple ships. Revan left the ship behind to go to the unknown regions, I presume he still has it, (his new ship). And the Exile had to either bring the Ebon Hawk or a huge, Ravager like, ship. It seems more likely that he/she would use the Ebon Hawk.

I really think that they should use planets in the unknown regions. It gives way to absolute creativity for the planets, and new species. But the only way that would happen is if they dropped the MMO idea.

To me it seems pretty obvious that it should focus around both. Kreia said the the exile: "Perhaps you shall go there with him, and do battle at the end of all things. Instead, I remained here… and now show others the way." This pretty much states the the exile followed Revan and that he hasn't died ...

I believe that, if the KOTOR series stays with this idea, that you would live. Kreia does say to the exile: "Perhaps you will be there at the end of all things." and so far that hasn't happened.
