On the War Hound Pet Mod there's a female Houndress (?) in a Cellar beneath Aman'Lu (the same place where u subscribe for the arena quest).

My question is: is there any way to have a female version of the war hound in my party? If not, is it too hard to "re-mod" again? xD

The thing that determines how well a FoS will do in a party is the build u do. Tank is the most basic one and probably the one that gives less headaches.

Berserkers (dual wielders) and Barbarians (two handers) will give u plenty of work. They have even less defense ...

Thanks for the fast reply, I was really sad about it. Since I know it's just the lvl cap that was slightly raised, I can relax now. I thought my party would go all way up to lvl 125 (assuming I could) and that I wouldn't be able to raise the "lower" skills.

Look for the backup of ur save and load it with all saves (just rename it as the most recent save .ds2party file and do the same with the .ds2radar file).

Actually the problem is: I don't have it installed (it's been more than 1 year since I last uninstaled it) and it seems it's still installed.

Needless to say I have reinstalled the game, cleaned my registry many times and even searched for any remaining key on "regedit".

Try this mod.

Download "Aranna Legacy Mod".

Intall it and and retry. Hope it fixes this problem. As soon as u've gotten the sword, u can uninstall the mod if u want.

And I play from the very week they released the demo. As my PC is pretty old, DS2 is one of the top games i'm able to play (i uninstall and reinstall to keep any enthusiasm's left in myself - haven't get to lvl 100 with any party in the last 2 years). :o

It is ok, but NEVER invest more points in any skill than the necessary for powers, unless u're planning to reset them later, 'cause u'll find many equipments giving ur chars high bonuses to all skills they've learnt.
